ReachMe (ReachMe Technologies) protects vehicle owners' phone numbers while letting scanners reach them safely. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Who we are

What we collect
- Orders: name, phone, delivery address, and email so we can deliver tags and confirm orders.
- Accounts: phone number (and optional email) used to activate and manage tags.
- Scans & contact: tag identifier, reason for contact, optional message or photo, and (when required) a scanner phone verified by OTP. Precise scanner location is never shown to the owner.
- Payments: for COD, we keep order and delivery details. For online or mobile-wallet payments (including PayFast, JazzCash, or Easypaisa), payment gateways process card or wallet data on their systems. We store payment status, amount, and references needed for support — not full card numbers.
- Support: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, or phone.
How we use data
- Deliver tags, fulfill orders, and provide the scan / contact service
- Verify activation and prevent fraud or abuse
- Send order, activation, and service notices
- Improve reliability and respond to support requests
What we do not do
- We do not show an owner's real phone number on the public scan page for paid physical tags
- We do not sell your personal data
- We do not share precise scanner location with owners
Sharing
We share data only with providers needed to run the service — for example delivery partners, SMS/WhatsApp providers, email delivery, and payment processors such as PayFast. They may only use data to perform their service for ReachMe.
Retention
We keep account, order, and contact records as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal duties, and handle disputes. You can ask us to update or delete account data where the law allows.
Security
We use industry-standard protections for data in transit and at rest. No method is 100% secure; please keep your OTP codes private.
Your choices
You can update profile details in the owner dashboard, pause or revoke a tag, and contact us to request access or deletion of personal data we hold about you.
